Rationale
Artwork Title: Transient Pulse
Drez expanded on his Chromatic Pulse series by using wider lines along the sides and finer bands at the top and bottom of the mural, creating space for an immersive field of colour that expands outward while drawing the viewer in. Soft blue and purple hues reflect the surrounding sky, while bordering grey tones echo shifting daylight, together visually connecting the work to its environment and integrating it with nature’s cycles. Deeper purples at the mural’s centre introduce a focussed depth for Adnate’s portrait. The colour strips that Drez created, foster a unified visual dialogue between both works.
