Rationale
Artwork Title: Colours Of Country
This mural design is inspired by the colours, textures and forms found throughout our varied landscape, from earth to sea to sky. It references patterns and textures found in tree bark, rock formations and tide pools that MEGGS has personally documented during his travels around Victoria and along the Eastern coastline. His intention for this mural is to celebrate the beauty found in the details of nature and the broad spectrum of colours that relate to our country’s diversity of people, experiences and landscapes.
