About Spencer

Spencer Harrison is an Australian artist whose work explores geometric abstraction in relation to the modern world. His visual language draws from the world around us, incorporating elements from design, architecture, technology, and the built environment. Exploring the tension between minimalism and maximalism, order and disorder, his work reflects on how these contrasts shape contemporary life. Central to Harrison’s practice is an exploration of colour, including its perception, emotional impact, symbolism and cultural significance. His diverse practice includes painting, drawing, murals, digital video, sculpture, and installation, each contributing to his exploration of these themes.
